Backstory behind the Passion

I am fortunate to have a wonderful husband, three amazing adult children, precious grandchildren, and a slew of supportive friends and family.  I have an extensive and solid 30+ years career in corporate America.  I am now driven to utilize my personal and professional exposures and experiences to align CDVision's goals to educate, support, motivate, and represent the heart of society which starts with the nucleus of the family.

CDVision, LLC. was founded by Rhonda St. Phard (Doula Saint) in 2018. My vision materialized upon entering the empty-nester phase with the realization that the maternal clock remained a strong fiber of my DNA. I was not privy to the career of a Doula until I embarked upon the tragic story of Kira Johnson (4kira4moms.com and the Kira Johnson Act). This awareness guided my purposeful journey towards becoming a Certified Professional Doula. To my dismay, the W.H.O. data ranks the U.S. highest of the developed countries as it pertains to the maternal and infant mortality rate. The C.D.C. reports the rise in the maternal and infant mortality rate linked to the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color), in particular the melanated, community. These stats are unnerving and exposes the biases projected unto the BIPOC community derived from the medicalization of the birthing process. I desire to educate on the naturalization of the childbearing stages along with empowering teens and the traditional BIPOC families with the opportunity for advocacy and representation. Families are vital to the progression of humanity and for this reason, the vision of this company is to drastically mitigate maternal mortality, medical bias, devastating birth outcomes, and medical kidnapping, to name a few factors plaguing the community. CDVision, LLC. is a Holistic Doula and Family Services specializing in prioritizing teens and the traditional family throughout the childbearing stages.

The vision is to improve the statistics

*Highest level of homebirths since 1990.

*Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC) is at a steady incline.

*Pre-term birth rate is declining.

*Reduction in pain medication during pregnancy and labor.

*Shorter labor and less medical interventions.

*Decrease unnecessary cesarean births.
